I have started this blog to help others who are in the same situation I was in just a few short years ago ? I was ready to be in a long-term loving relationship but couldn?t seem to find a guy who wanted to love me back. My friends would constantly say ?You are a great catch,? and ?Any guy who doesn?t want to be with you is crazy,? but it seemed like none of the single men I met were getting the message. I tried to reason away my inability to find a boyfriend with excuses like men were intimidated by my success or that I had spent so many years single and was too independent to be in a relationship. It wasn?t until I was in my mid-30s that I realized the problem was with me! I was the barrier to my own success.
Once I realized what was holding me back with dating I changed a few things about my dating approach such as my look, my online dating presence, and my attitude about what to expect from men. I saw immediate results. I went from having one first date every-other month with an occasional second date to a situation where I was being asked out on more dates that there are days in the week. I could not keep the men away. Within a year of starting my journey to improve my love life I met Mitchell Zelazny and we were married August 29, 2015.
If I had met my husband 6 months earlier we would not be together today. It took me that long to figure out what I was doing wrong in my dating life. Fortunately for me the things I learned are helping me with being a better wife to my husband. All worthwhile relationships take work and romantic relationships take a level of work that I did not comprehend until I changed my approach to dating.
My purpose for this blog is to share with you what I learned that lead me to be more successful in dating. Some things that I may say will be controversial but many things will be eye-opening to you. But please keep an open mind as we go through this journey and I guarantee that you will greatly alter your approach to finding and sustaining love.
